Welcome...

Welcome to newest version of my home on the net. I've changed the design yet again, to what you will hopefully agree, is the best yet. I've still got a few updates to do, and for the moment, this is just a new look for the site, I hope to make use of either WordPress or TextPattern for the back end. More on that soon. For the time being, the old content will have to do.

Site Relaunch

New Domain's, New Host, New Website.

A change of host, and the addition of two new domains gave me the perfect excuse to update my website. Thats what you see before you today. The back end of the site has been built using CodeIgniter, a very flexible framework, and despite my initial reservations, it proved to be very effective, and I will look to use it in future projects.

Latest Update

Just finished adding the newest update to the site, the My Diggs page, I had to redo it completley rather than use the same one from the old site, this one works quicker and it was much easier to code this time.

In the past few weeks I also added the theme changer (top right), with a choice of 4 colours, the green might be a bit bright, but you have control, it should also remember your colour choice for the next time you visit.

Site Updated

Well it only took me 5 days, but I have finally completed the first stage of my new website, as you can see I have added the Portfolio section with a few examples of my work, I'll add more to this section in time, not just the websites I have worked on, but also some of my own personal work. I have also added a basic contact form which you'll find here, please use this if you want to send me a message or ask a question.

As for Stage 2, I hope to start work on that within the next few days. I've got a couple of ideas floating around at the moment:

Anyway until next time.

New Site Launched

Welcome to the new look ARB Online.

As you can see I have redesigned the site from the ground up, gone are the dragable boxes, gone are the changeable stylesheets, and for the moment the text size changer is also gone (although this will make a comeback shortly). Also dropped for the time being is my digg rss feed, this will make a comeback as well, but I'm just trying to work out a way of fitting it in.

As with my old site this one fully validates for both XHTML and CSS, and in true Web 2.0 style I must describe this site as being in beta. You'll see that the only pages live at the moment are this one, and also the About Me, Site Design, and Links pages. I've still to complete my new Portfolio section and Contact page. Usually I wouldn't go live like this but by doing this it gives me the drive to finish it off and not let it drift away.

Please check back soon as I hope to have the other sections finished off within the next few days.
